Michael Prittie is President/Principal of TransOcean Global Consulting Ltd. Formerly based in Ottawa, Canada, Michael embarked on a career in wealth management in 1986. Over time, he became a registered Discretionary Portfolio Manager, Senior Financial Advisor and Branch Owner of a Canadian securities dealer specializing in public and private equity investment solutions. He and his team advised clients over his 37-year career period providing excellence in wealth management, tax and financial planning services.
He possessed a number of valued designations; Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Investment Manager (CIM), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) to name a few. Michael also became a respected and well-known source for financial advice and information to Canadian media outlets. Some of his articles can be found within this website. Michael developed long-term relationships with individuals, families and business owners who sought sound investment advice and tax planning strategies up and until his retirement in Dec 2023. This is when Michael’s succession plan to his son Adam was realized and he and his spouse finalized their three-year plan to depart Canada and relocate to Panama as residents
